The Truth about Humidification Delivery

Many whole-house humidifier manufacturers list humidification capacity in gallons per day (GPD), or the amount of moisture they can deliver in 24 hour period. But how do you know which ones really work and if a home is getting enough moisture?

Typically, the GPD claim is based on a home's heating equipment running 100 percent of the time, for 24 hours a day at 120F.
